Clan Server

If there is anyone with a static IP address and is willing to let the clan use this for a clan server then please set up a server and post the IP. I know this is a big call to ask for.

Unfortunately I have a dynamic, it'll cost extra with Optusnet to get a static one. Plus, Optusnet don't allow servers on their residential cable network (they are all run through a proxy). We could always hire one, there are plenty of sites available 8)

EGN servers, a little dear though imho
Cheap as chips US server rentals
Heaps of game server providers here

Unfortunately I don't have an income so i won't be able to rent one. But if there are any members who are willing then thay would be really really good. They would be incharge of the server, not me. Very Happy

A server would really help gain more members. I just don't know if they would be willing to join a fun clan though. If you can get a server then it would be so so so good and I'd like to make you an administrator of the clan too.

Yep, I'll try my best...lemme have a check with BB and see what we can come up with. Erm do you mean Admin now or on the server mate?

I mean admin for both. It's your server and i have no intention to take over the server but it would be nice to be able to moderate the server too. I would make you admin for the site to, just cause I know that you are putting in a genuine attempt for the clan, even though i already know that but just for proff.

It would be good if we could run other mods to so we could get members for all teams.

Yep rgr that, I know with the ZH plugin you need Mani Admin. The only problem is with ZH is that it's too damn popular, we'd prolly never get on our own server lol. Unless we reserved space hehe Wink

Yep, we'd need to shut it down for a few minutes while we'd get our team on it. hopefully we can get alot of members. if we do get a server ill get on and start recruiting like hell Very Happy

wish we could get the biggest aussie fun clan
I'm gettin ideas even before we've even got the server. we'll if i had a credit card or something i'd buy one already.
I'll check around too, to see if there's a cheap one to let you know.
Just let me know when you know for sure if you are or aren't getting a server.

hey guys, its great that we're finally talking serious stuff here. It'd be great to have a server of our own, and if we do get the clan large enough, i'd like to really implement some of the tactics, especially PV's on dust 2.

I'm listening out for server info!!!

Sorry I have been Uber busy with work and Uni the past couple of weeks (exams start next week), I'm terribly sorry for the dalay Embarassed
